Get your Letter of Invitation

All you need to register, apply for visa if you are not exempted, and arrange your hotel booking and travel, is now available on the website.

As the "early bird" registration deadline (8th March) is drawing closer, it is time to go through the formalities.

You will find all you need under Registration (top menu):

Hotels - Information about the hotels where we are holding rooms and a booking form. Remember that Oslo is a relatively small city with limited lodging capacity. We recommend that you book early - when you register.

 

Visa - Nationals of quite a few countries are exempted. Refer to the list. If you need to apply for a visa, you can download the Letter of invitation. Please note that it has to be presented together with an email of acceptance of abstract and/or a confirmation of paid registration fee in order to be valid. Supply full name, contact information, affiliation and passport number / expire date in the address field of the letter before submitting.

 

Stipend recipients (Early career, teachers) - All stipend recipients have to go through the normal registration procedure. You will get a separate email with a code you need to use, before you can register. Note that you should NOT book hotel rooms. Free lodging is included in the stipend, and will be arranged for you.

 

Press - Press (News media journalists, freelance science writers, press officers) also are offered waived fees if requirements are fulfilled. Representatives of the also have to register through the normal system in order to get a badge. There is separate application form (see Press room) that has to be submitted and approved to be eligible for waived fees. Otherwise full fees will apply.

 

Travel - You need to arrange your own travel. On the web you will find links to the airlines that have routes to one of the three airports in the Oslo area. Oslo Airport Gardermoen (photo) is only 11 minutes with the airport express train from the conference venue.
